I think Summer sat with Auggie because she was left out before she met some friends. Summer seems nice but her friends don't seem very nice. Hopefully she stays nice and wasn't playing tricks on auggie.
i think that summer came over to auggie because she felt bad for him and she wanted him to feel like he fits in and i think that summer is good but she is a little discluding to other kids like when she said "Only kids who have a name that has something to do with a season or month."

I think the reason summer came over to sit with Auggie because she saw that no one was sitting with him so felt bad for him and came over to see him.like if you where on the playground playing and you saw a kid siting on a bench and you ask them if they want to play and most of the time they will say no but Auggie said yes
I think Summer sat next to Auggie beacause she thinks what is on the inside is important then what is on the outside and his face does not bother at all.
i think that Summer came and sat with him because maybe she knows how he is feeling. i think they are going to be great friends and that she will get him many friends and teach people to understand how he is feeling...and i agree with Eli, i would like to be friends with Summer too.
I really like Summer. It was nice of her to share her Halloween plans with Auggie. I'm glad she came over to sit with him. She even said no to her original friends when they asked her to come back to their table.
I really like Summer and how she always is happy. I love how she accepts Auggie for himself and not judging him by his face like a lot of other people do.
Maybe Summer sat next to Augie because she has a brother or a sister that has a cleft palet so she understands how it feels.
